Run on very quiet roads, the accurately measured route takes in Swifts Green, Egerton Forstal, Pembles Cross and Southernden, back to Headcorn. All the usual facilities: bag storage, toilets, refreshments, chip-timing and finishers trophies/medals.img

Registration: from 07:15,  Race Start: 09:00.
On-line entries: will close at 8pm on the preceding Thursday.
Entry in advance: £22 or £20 with EA/B2R membership but please bring proof of membership on the day. New for 2018 we are including Beginners2Runners membership in our 'Affiliated' discount prices.
Entry on the day: will be available subject to capacity, £25, cash only at registration please. I believe we have never yet turned away an athlete on the day of a race. You could print and fill in our postal form (see [Race entry] at top of page) and bring it along, which is easier for you and us at a busy registration desk.
Race pack: We don't send out a race pack in the post, everything is handled at registration on the day. No worries.
Pre-race emails: are normally sent the day after on-line entries close.
Chip timing: This event will be chip timed, subject to sufficient numbers.

Earphones: Sorry folks, in-ear earphones and over-the-ear headphones are not allowed in our races.
However, Bone-Conduction earphones are now permitted by England Athletics, so that's also OK by us.
Headcorn Half 2021 date: yet to be confirmed.
More info: The 3rd year for this half-marathon in mid-kent starting and finishing from the village green in Headcorn which is situated on the main A274 Maidstone - Tenterden road and is also served by a mainline railway station which is just 3 mins walk from Race HQ. The accurately measured route takes in Swifts Green , Egerton Forstal , Pembles Cross and Southernden before returning to Headcorn . The course has been measured but the event is not registered with EA/RB. The course will have four water stations (all bottled mineral water ) , the 2nd and 3rd stations will also have flat coke and hi-carb sweets available - good training for that full marathon ! There will also be a water station at the finish and a HOT/Cold drinks/food catering stand.
A full range of trophies are up for collection by the overall winners and the 40+ , 50+ , 60+ men and ladies winners and runners up.
There is also a TOP-Team trophy this year for the winning club team of 4. Exactly ONE member must be female and at least one other 40+ to qualify , the combined 4 times are to count. Chip timing for fast and accurate results. 10 spot prize vouchers awarded as you cross the line - smiling helps !
