RUNNING AND RIDING

Canterbury Riverside 10k is one of the most scenic runs around.   This traffic-free course along the River Stour links Chartham with the centre of Canterbury and makes it one of the flattest courses you will ever run.

Starting from our HQ in Chartham, we run one lap of the playing field (which spreads the 400 runners out) before hitting the River Stour pathway which winds its way alongside the river all the way to 'Toddlers Cove'.  The route then turns and re-traces all the way back to the finish at HQ.  Out and back runs always give the opportunity for front runners to see who is coming up from behind and those behind can see how much more effort they have to put in to move up the field...

Excellent marshalling, signage, medals and trophies (Male and Female 1st, 2nd and 3rd, age groups and top team) and toilets available at HQ.

Parking: For parking please go to either Bolts HIll  , Bakers Lane and Parish Lane - please do not park in Stour road .
