One of Mid-Kent's favourite Sportives, the 116k/72M loop with 8 major climbs, inc a KOM timed ride up the last hill with the quickest male and female awarded the Polka Dot jersey. Excellent signage, map, course description, well-stocked feed station at 66km/41M, large hall, kitchen.
See below for a GPX file ("some other file") which should work in your navigation device.
Race HQ: Staplehurst Village Centre, High Street, Staplehurst, Kent, TN12 0BJ
Directions: Click this link, press Directions, choose the car symbol, enter your postcode or half of it, on the top line and click the spyglass.

On-line entries: will close at 8pm on the preceding Thursday.
Entry in advance: £20.
Entry on the day: will be available subject to capacity, £25, cash only at registration please. I believe we have never yet turned away an athlete on the day of a race. You could print and fill in our postal form (see [Race entry] at top of page) and bring it along, which is easier for you and us at a busy registration desk.
Race pack: We don't send out a race pack in the post, everything is handled at registration on the day. No worries.
Pre-race emails: are normally sent the day after on-line entries close.
Chip timing: This event will be chip timed, subject to sufficient numbers.
Event Records: Male 03:19:10, Female 03:55:07 (Some courses have altered over time)
Tour of the Weald 2020 date: yet to be confirmed.
More info: We have taken out two of the old climbs but replaced them with 3 new ones in a major re-write of the route - some new scenery to look at - old favourites like East Hall Hill and the polka-dot jersey timed climb will remain though !
Now establishedfor 7 years as one of Mid-Kent's favourite Sportives - as everyone who has ridden with us before knows this is a quality route with DEDICATED TOTW signage on every turn and junction - not those silly flouro arrows which could have been there months ! We have a well stocked feed station in Biddenden at about 67.5km/41.9M and a rescue/back up vehicle just a phone call away. There is a riders medal for all finishers and hot/cold food from the catering stand back at HQ.
Note: The Onion-seller/Retro rally and Bike Jumble are not happening this year.
Terms and Conditions: Please see our terms and conditions here.
Some other file, map, link,
