More info: How many races have you been to that begin with a train ride? Probably none ! Thats why this unique trail run had such excellent feedback last year [2014], as 130 runners boarded a train at Maidstone West station and took the 8 minute journey up to Wateringbury where everyone disembarked and made their way to the Marina where the start is. [We hope very much that the rail people will not this year choose to repair their track on race day and send us by coach.] At the sound of the horn they set off down the path which never leaves the side of the River and goes under some bridges, over others, crossing walkways and through "kissing" gates. Anyone over 6ft 2in is strongly advised to DUCK at the East Farley bridge where the tunnel underneath is particularly low ! The run finishes outside the David Lloyd club in Maidstone Town Centre where spectators can cheer from the footbridge for a great view of the finish. The distance covered is approx 9k.

All proceeds from this event are going to BREAST CANCER RESEARCH.
So far we have raised just about £11,000 !
So thank you everyone.
