Welcome to Running & Riding

If you enjoy your running we have some great new courses to try this year as well as some established favourites.  Kent has a proliferation of running events in most major towns as well as some of the smaller villages and all offer the seasoned athlete or new runner the chance to stretch those legs against the clock.  Our races are fully marshalled AND signed, water stations are provided at the best points on the course and kilometre/mile markers are there to help you plan your efforts.  Chip timing is now almost expected at every race and again we have provided that to ensure swift results when you cross the line.  Medals will be given to all finishers as well as overall and age-group trophies.

If you cycle as well or just ride we have two Sportives.  The Tour of The Weald (always on Easter Sunday) now attracts 250 riders who tackle a 108k loop which includes 6 major climbs which total over 800 metres , including the King of the Mountains Polka-Dot jersey to compete for on the last climb of the day, the 7k “Col d’Ulcombe”.  Feedback from riders in the south east has been quite precise: the early part of the year has been well catered for with Sportives but little or nothing at the end.  So we now have the Time on Two Wheels Sportive which will go up over the Downs, head out to the sea before turning back inland via Canterbury and Ashford, then returning to HQ at Lenham.  Quite a few roads never used on Sportives before !

The event pages include full race information, course maps, links to online entry/postal entry forms ,  start lists and archives of race results.
